The renovation of the building
A factory that radiates activity works wonders. Fresh, light walls, a white clean floor with bright yellow lines.
A hall where all workpieces and pallets are straight and orderly.
In short, a hall where technicians step into the hall and their eyes immediately start to twinkle. That is what we want to achieve with the renovation of our building in Schiedam.
Walls and windows
Over the years, the walls have collected a lot of dirt and oil. The first step in the renovation process was therefore cleaning and painting the walls white again.
After the walls were completely cleaned and painted, we started cleaning the windows, which, together with the walls, have collected a lot of dirt and oil over the years, after cleaning this, in combination with the painted walls, gave a refreshing look to our building.

Floors
The floors in the building consisted mostly of wooden blocks, which had turned black over the years from the amount of oil and dirt they had collected.
The second project for refurbishing the building was therefore to replace all floors within six months for a beautiful, light concrete floor with new lines and anti-slip coating.
It was a project with one important condition; the customer was not allowed to experience any consequences, so production could not be stopped for a day.
Clean up and align
A renovated and fresh building is a motivation for everyone to give it the appearance it deserves. That is why collective agreements were made among colleagues to jointly clean up and keep the building tidy.
Everyone also agreed that workpieces and pallets should be put away so straight that you can hold the proverbial ruler along them!
All of this contributes to the order and tidiness that our building radiates.
Stockroom
We naturally need a warehouse to store our belongings neatly and in an orderly fashion.
That is why we have purchased new racks and have given them a number per rack and shelf. The products can then be searched on the tablet, which is attached to the rack, by article or rack number.
In this way we know exactly where the necessary items are and how much of this we still have in stock.

In the photo album below you can clearly see what the refurbishment has done to the building.
For example, our new warehouse is clearly visible and the new floor, in combination with the order and tidiness of the tidying up, gives a fresh picture of our factory hall.
